Civil Builders was originally established in 2009 as Civil Builders, LLC, performing government and private construction projects under an unclassified contractor license (Building, Highway, and Utilities).
In 2012, Civil Siteworks, Inc. was formed to pursue larger civil construction and infrastructure projects under an unlimited contractor license, expanding the firm's ability to deliver more complex site development work.
In 2024, the construction entities were unified under the Civil Builders name, creating a single platform focused on building and infrastructure solutions.
Today, Civil Builders continues to grow as a full-scope general construction firm, supporting clients across the public and private sectors in delivering infrastructure and facility projects from preconstruction through closeout with practical, buildable results.

Our North Carolina General Contractor license — Unlimited Unclassified in Building, Highway, and Utilities — is the broadest contractor classification the state issues, giving us the scope to self-perform or prime complex projects of any size for federal, state, and private sector clients.
